How to Prepare

Avoid medications that thin the blood such as ibuprofen, aspirin, Vitamin E, fish oil, ginger, ginkgo biloba, and green tea for 7–10 days prior to treatment to reduce the risk of bruising.

During Treatment

A topical numbing cream is applied for comfort. Your injector uses precise techniques to place the filler strategically for optimal results. The average treatment takes 30–60 minutes depending on the number of areas treated.

Recovery

Some bruising at the injection site, numbness, and temporary redness or swelling are common. Cosmetic injections require very minimal downtime — most clients return to work the same day.

Results

Results are visible immediately and continue to improve over the following 2 weeks as swelling resolves. Duration depends on the type of filler and area treated — commonly lasting 9–18 months.

Prolonging Your Results
