NP-Led Assessments

Medical Treatment Planning

Skin Diva offers therapeutic neuromodulator treatments (such as Botox) for appropriate medical concerns. All medical assessments and treatments are performed by our Nurse Practitioner. Product selection and dosing are determined following an individualized assessment and applicable Health Canada authorization and product labelling. Your consultation covers your symptoms, health history, previous treatments, and suitability. If treatment is appropriate, your NP will discuss dosing, your individualized total treatment cost, consent, and follow-up.

Consultation-Led Care

Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

Treatment fee

Individualized pricing

The number of units and total treatment cost are determined only after an individualized assessment of your symptoms, health history, and treatment suitability.

01 · Medical Treatment Planning

Our medical sweating service focuses exclusively on excessive underarm sweating, also known as axillary hyperhidrosis.

Assessment & Suitability

Your Nurse Practitioner reviews how sweating affects daily life, your medications, possible underlying causes, and treatments already tried. Medical neuromodulator treatment may be considered when appropriate; it does not treat every cause of sweating or body odour.

Before your consultation

Bring details of antiperspirants or other treatments you have used. New or unexplained sweating, especially with other symptoms, should be medically assessed before an injection treatment is planned.

Medical Botox for migraines

Treatment fee

Individualized pricing

The number of units and total treatment cost are determined only after an individualized assessment of your symptoms, health history, and treatment suitability.

02 · Medical Treatment Planning

NP-led assessment for chronic migraine concerns, with prevention-focused treatment planning rather than immediate relief of an active headache.

Assessment & Suitability

Your NP reviews headache frequency, migraine features, medical history, medications, and previous preventive treatments. Not every headache or migraine is suitable for injectable treatment. Diagnosis and the selected product’s Health Canada indications guide whether treatment or specialist referral is appropriate.

Before your consultation

A headache diary and a list of previous migraine treatments can help your assessment. A sudden severe headache, new weakness, confusion, or new vision changes requires urgent medical care—not a routine consultation.

Medical Botox for TMJ/bruxism

Treatment fee

Individualized pricing

The number of units and total treatment cost are determined only after an individualized assessment of your symptoms, health history, and treatment suitability.

03 · Medical Treatment Planning

Individualized assessment of jaw tension, clenching, and grinding, including the contribution of overactive chewing muscles.

Assessment & Suitability

TMJ refers to the jaw joint; bruxism means teeth grinding or clenching. Your NP reviews symptoms, jaw-muscle activity, and medical and dental history. Evidence for neuromodulator treatment of temporomandibular disorders is inconclusive, and this use may be off-label. Treatment does not correct every joint, bite, or dental problem.

Before your consultation

Dental evaluation, physiotherapy, or other care may be recommended. Possible effects include chewing fatigue, weakness, smile changes, asymmetry, and altered lower-face contour. Bring any previous dental assessments or treatment recommendations.

Treatment Information

An individualized medical plan

Botox is a prescription product name, not a term for every neuromodulator. Product indications and units differ. Your NP explains the selected product, applicable Health Canada labelling, any proposed off-label use, risks, alternatives, dose, total cost, and follow-up before treatment. Results vary, effects are temporary, and insurance coverage is not guaranteed.

Possible effects include injection-site pain, bruising, headache, and unwanted weakness or asymmetry. Difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking after treatment requires urgent medical care. Tell your NP about all medications, prior injections, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any muscle, nerve, swallowing, or breathing conditions.
